Anyone who has visited the Hanmer Springs TOP 10 in the last 12 months will have seen the hard work that's been going on all around the property, most especially the construction of our brand new Apartment accommodation offering.
Our intention with these new units was to ramp up the offering above a standard cabin or even a motel unit, to something much more like a holiday home or a high-end B'n'B - and we think the results speak for themselves!
We have focused on quality kitchens, including fantastic dishwashers, under bench ovens and fridges with both chilled water and ice dispensers. The cupboards and drawers are fully-equipped with all the gear you could need to whip up great meals for the crew, and when you want to avoid the kitchen, each apartment has a deck equipped with a Weber BBQ - which we can confirm is a great way to cook your summer meals!
Every bed is set up with reading lights and a USB charger to plug in your devices overnight and keep them close at hand. The bedrooms feature super king-size beds, and the eight-person unit has a room with six bunks, perfect for small groups or extended families travelling together.
And the bathrooms - we've moved to refillable toiletries to help reduce waste, and you can enjoy using our shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, plus the liquid soap and body balm in the bathroom. The showers are doubles with loads of space and are amazing.
We've focused on getting the details right throughout all the apartments, including custom lighting design, quality fittings, designer items in the kitchen and even robes and eco slippers so you can stay warm and dry when you are heading to or from our hot tubs.
The whole vibe is spacious, welcoming and perfect for any time of year, with a gas fire, underfloor heating and heat pumps to ensure every room is cosy even when there's snow outside - and air-con for those hot summer months.
